Welcome to ArtStar — an RWA (Real World Asset) investment platform focused on tokenizing blue-chip artworks. With blockchain technology, you can invest in fractional ownership of world-class art in a secure and transparent way. To help you get started quickly and avoid common pitfalls, this guide walks you through the full flow—from connecting your wallet to completing your first purchase.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have a Web3 wallet (MetaMask recommended), enough BEP-20 USDT, and a small amount of BNB.

Preparation: Install and Configure a Web3 Wallet

If you don’t have a Web3 wallet yet, we strongly recommend MetaMask.

Download & Install

  • Desktop: Visit the MetaMask website and install the official browser extension (Chrome or Edge recommended).
  • Mobile: Search for “MetaMask” in the Apple App Store or Google Play and install the official app.

Create a Wallet & Back Up

Open MetaMask and follow the on-screen instructions to create a new wallet.
Critical: Write down your 12-word Secret Recovery Phrase on paper and store it securely. Anyone with this phrase can control your funds—never take screenshots or share it with anyone.

Configure the BNB Chain Network

ArtStar runs on BNB Chain (BNB Smart Chain). When you connect your wallet on the website, you’ll typically be prompted to add and switch to the network automatically.
{
networkName: "BNB Smart Chain",
chainId: 56,
rpcUrl: "https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org",
symbol: "BNB",
explorer: "https://bscscan.com"
}

Step 1: Connect Your Wallet and Create an Account

On ArtStar, your Web3 wallet is your identity. There’s no traditional username/password—connecting your wallet is enough to register and sign in.
Network & Asset Requirements 1. Network: All issuance and trading on ArtStar happens on BNB Chain (formerly BSC). 2. Settlement asset: Prepare BEP-20 USDT for purchases (do not use USDT on ERC-20/TRC-20 networks, or your funds may not appear and won’t be usable). 3. Gas fees: Keep a small amount of BNB in your wallet (recommended at least 0.01 BNB) to pay network fees. Without BNB, you won’t be able to complete on-chain actions.

Open the Website

Open the ArtStar website homepage.

Connect Your Wallet

Click “Connect Wallet” in the top-right corner. If you entered via an invitation link, click “Connect and continue”.

Select a Wallet & Network

In the wallet selector, choose your preferred wallet (MetaMask/Trust Wallet recommended), or sign in with email to create a Privy embedded wallet—then make sure the network is set to BNB Chain.

Sign to Confirm

Complete the signature request in your wallet to confirm login. (Note: this login signature only proves wallet ownership. It does not spend funds or consume gas.)

Step 2: Complete KYC Verification

To comply with global regulations and protect investors, you must complete KYC (Know Your Customer) verification before participating in any Launchpad purchase.

Open Verification

Click your wallet address in the top-right corner to open the dropdown menu.

Start KYC

Select “KYC Verification”.

Submit Information

Follow the guided flow to submit your basic information and identity documents. (Note: due to compliance requirements, users from certain restricted countries/regions may not be able to pass verification. Please follow the on-screen prompts.)

Wait for Approval

After submission, the system will review your application. Once approved, you’ll see a green shield icon and an “Approved / Whitelisted” status in the menu.
Only KYC-approved (whitelisted) users can purchase shares in the Launchpad.

Step 3: Browse and Select an Art Asset

After verification, you can start exploring investable art assets on the platform.

Go to Launchpad

Click “Launchpad” in the top navigation.

Choose an Asset

Browse art assets that are currently Active, then click an artwork you’re interested in to open the asset details page.

Review Key Information

On the details page, you can review: - Details: artwork overview, size, year, medium, and provenance. - Valuation Report: third-party valuation, market trend analysis, and liquidity rating. - Issuance Rules: total supply, settlement asset, lockup period, and post-settlement rights.

Step 4: Approve and Purchase (Mint)

Once you’ve decided to invest, you can complete the purchase from the trading panel on the right side of the details page. The flow is always two-step: Approve first, then Purchase.

Confirm Your Status

In Purchase Shares, confirm you have enough BEP-20 USDT and that your whitelist (KYC) badge is visible.

Enter an Amount

Enter the USDT amount you want to invest (must meet the asset’s minimum purchase requirement). The system will calculate the Shares you will receive.

Step 1: Approve USDT

  • If this is your first purchase (or your allowance is insufficient), click Approve USDT. - Your wallet will prompt you to approve the transaction, allowing the smart contract to spend the specified amount of USDT. - Wait for on-chain confirmation (typically 3–5 seconds).

Step 2: Confirm Purchase

  • After approval, the button changes to Confirm Purchase automatically.
  • Click it and confirm the final mint transaction in your wallet. Your USDT will be deducted and the shares tokens will be sent to your wallet. - Once completed, you’ll see a success message and your transaction hash.
Common Pitfall Approving is not the same as purchasing. Approval only grants spending permission. You must click Confirm Purchase after approval and complete the second wallet confirmation to finalize the purchase.

Step 5: View and Manage Your Assets

After your purchase, you can track your holdings and performance at any time.

Open Your Dashboard

Click Dashboard in the top navigation, or use the top-right menu to open My Wallet.

Review Details

In your account center, you can see: - Your current art token balances (you may need to import the token contract into your wallet app to view it there). - Your points history and referral reward breakdown. - Your unique Invite Code to invite friends and earn commission rewards.

FAQ

Check the following in order: 1. Network: Is your wallet on BNB Chain (BSC)? 2. Gas: Do you have enough BNB? (USDT cannot be used to pay gas.) 3. Token network: Are you using BEP-20 USDT? (If your USDT is on Ethereum/Tron, bridge or transfer it to BNB Chain first.) 4. Minimum amount: Does your input meet the asset’s minimum purchase requirement?
Try refreshing the page or reconnecting your wallet from the top-right menu. If your transaction stays in “Pending” in your wallet, the network may be congested—wait a bit, or increase gas in your wallet to speed it up.
